Maths

Today I did a 100 timetable test. I got 100%. I did it in 5 minutes 31 seconds. Which might sound impressive but it is not so my goal to improve my time under the 5 minute mark.

Maths

I learnt a interesting thing today it was.

Positive x positive will always equal positive.

Negative x negative will be positive for some reason.

Negative x positive will be negative for some reason.

Same happens if you mix it around.

E.g

5 x 3 = 15

-5 x -3 = 15

5 x -3 = -15

-5 x 3 = -15

Maths

Today in maths we were doing probability. It was easy for me because we have been practising.

There is a limit of 24 candies.                                                                                                                                        .

The fractions say how much there is.

We had to do colour at the minimum of 5 different colours. when we did the fractions out of 50 and the percentages are doubled from fractions amount.

Maths

Today we were learning that there are many ways to resent ways to represent a number. These are some ways to represent 1/2

As the answer to an addition sentence

1 + ½ 1 = 1.5

In words

Half of the number.

½

As a percentage: 50%

As the answer to a multiplication sentence: 2 x 50 = 100 ½ 100 = 50

As a word problem: Bob had 10 apples and give half of them to ben how much is that ½ = 5 or 10 – 5 = 5

As a decimal: 0.5

As a picture

As an equivalent fraction: 1/2

Maths

I have been doing maths and have done a times table which is quite easy but just to make sure the teachers know that we know I did it and in the end it is a little easier but still probably in the same level.

Here it is

Maths Post

In maths I am making a park and calculating the area of it to make sure the teacher knows we know how to do it, and I think that everyone knows how to do it so it is not much of a point. I got a park of 100 M2 the m2 stands for meters squared, because we don’t have some paper of 110 m it makes the one cm a meter so in the end it was 110 m2. I will tell you if you don’t know but you times the width with the length to get the answer to get it just do two sides though to get it to find out what the length is you find the longer side and that is the length and the other is width e.g a rectangle the length is 16 cm and the width is 10 cm there is 4 sides but just use two of the four sides to do it because 16 x 10 = 160 because 6 x 10 = 60 and 10 x 10 = 100 so 100 + 60 = 160 you keep one number to get the same answer.
